Concert Dress
Our concert appearance reflects upon our respect for ourselves, our audience, and the music we play. Concert attire is as follows, except when otherwise specified by the Music Director:
For women:
- Black or white blouse with 3/4 or long sleeves and a collar or high neckline
- Long black skirt or black dress slacks with black belt
- Black hose
- Black dress shoes
For men:
- White long-sleeved button front dress shirt
- Black bow tie (except Starter Strings and Preparatory Orchestra members, who wear no tie)
- Black dress pants with black belt
- Black dress socks
- Black dress shoes
- Black jackets (Symphony Orchestra members only)
It is inappropriate to wear the following to any concert: jeans, denim, leggings, white socks, casual or sports sandals, turtlenecks, sneakers, tennis shoes, athletic shoes, jewelry or accessories, or sleeveless blouses.
