SVYS acknowledges the support it receives from many groups and agencies


	SVYS receives grant support from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency.
	The concert orchestra performances at elementary schools are partially funded by a grant from the Springfield Area Arts Council and the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency.
	The Sangamon Valley Youth Symphony has established a fund with the Community Foundation for the Land of Lincoln which allows members of the public to make charitable contributions to SVYS. Many options for supporting SVYS exist at the Foundation, including estate bequests.The Community Foundation for the Land of Lincoln is a unique philanthropic resource for Central Illinois, helping charities and donors work together more effectively. 	SVYS is a member of the Illinois Council of Orchestras.
	SVYS is a member of the League of American Orchestras.
