The Illinois Symphony Orchestra provides artistic direction and administrative services.
SVYS receives grant support from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency.
SVYS receives grant support from the Springfield Area Arts Council.

The Sangamon Valley Youth Symphony has established a fund with the Sangamon County Community Foundation which allows members of the public to make charitable contributions to SVYS. Many options for supporting SVYS exist at the Foundation, including estate bequests.The Sangamon County Community Foundation is a unique philanthropic resource for Central Illinois, helping charities and donors work together more effectively. SCCF exists to support two essential pieces of the fabric of our community: local charities working to improve the quality of life for our community and donors who generously give financial contributions to support the causes they care about.
