On March 11, 2004, the SVYS String Quartet and Woodwind Quintet presented the Girard Lullaby Symphony concert at the Girard Grade School. A gathering of families and small children watched the concert from padded mats in the school gymnasium.

Melissa Cloyd, Kelsi Frost, Cora Embalabala, and Clayton Penrose-Whitmore formed the string quartet, and Jenny Krah, Rebekah Petter, Rachel Petter, Anna Massie, and Robert Crady played in woodwind quintet.

This was the second year for the Lullaby Concert in Girard. The SVYS ensembles were warmly received, and we hope this concert can become an annual event.
