2005-06 Season Family Orientation Meetings

SVYS musicians and their families are invited and encouraged to attend the Family Orientation Meetings, which will be held the first night of rehearsals. You will meet the conductor and the volunteer leadership of SVYS who will work with you during the coming year. You will also receive your copy of the SVYS handbook. At least one adult family member should accompany each student to the meeting.

Tuition is due in full at the Family Orientation Meeting. Yearly tuition is $100 for one member and $75 for each additional family member.

With the exception of the conductor, the SVYS is run completely by volunteers. During the orientation meeting, your family will be asked to sign up to participate in many of the volunteer activities available during the coming year. Adult family member participation is essential for the continued growth of the orchestras, so please be generous with your time and talents.
